Our Story

Tier 3 was founded in 2018 by Trey Caples and Brandon Briery, who first met decades ago while working together as camp counselors.Drawing on backgrounds in psychology, education, youth development, and nonprofit leadership, they established Tier 3 as a way to connect expertise, resources, and action in support of children, families, and communities.Their work is guided by a belief that lasting impact begins in relationship-based and community-based settings. Tier 3 seeks to bring the best of educational, clinical, and developmental practice into the places where children and families naturally live, learn, and connect.
